On December 15 - 17, 2023 East Asia Economic and Management Collaboration International Forum and the 6th Chinese Economic and Management Annual Conference was held at Anhui University of Finance and Economics (AUFE). The forum was sponsored by the China-Korea Economic and Management Commission and AUFE, and hosted by Institute of AUFE Statistics and Applied Mathematics and Laboratory of Low Carbon Development and Carbon Finance.More than 300 scholars, leaders and journalists from universities, industrial parks and the press attended the forum, including Chen Shiyi, Professor of Professor of School of Economics, Fudan University, Huang Jianshu, President of The Chinese Institute of Business Administration and Professor of Institute of Industrial Economics of Cass, Zhu Hongjun, President of AUFE, Song Malin, Vice President of AUFE, Keun Lee, Chief Editor of Research Policy and Professor of Seoul National University, Zhao Yupu, Vice President of Shangdong University, Weihai, Hong Chang Pyo, KOTRA General Representative of China Region, Choi Yong Rok, Dean of School of Global Governance, Inha University, Wu Genye, Vice President of Korean economic society and Dean of School of Economics and Management, Chungnam National University, Zhang Lixiao, Vice Dean of School of Environment, Beijing Normal University, Feng Xiaoming, Deputy Editor of China & World Economy, Liao Zhongju, Vice Dean of School of Economics and Management, Zhejiang Sci-tech University,Cheng Ming, Director of Yancheng Sino-Korean Industrial Park, and Sun Anhua, Director of Yantai Sino-Korean Industrial Park. Song Malin Chaired the opening ceremony.
Upon the establishment of China-Korea Joint International Research Laboratory on Innovation and Low Carbon Development, Song Malin and Wu Genye signed a cooperation agreement on behalf of both sides, and Zhu Hongjun and Wu Genye jointly inaugurated the laboratory.
The forum also set up sessions such as Keynote Academic Report, China-Korea Dean's Roundtable, Young Talent Dialogue, Journal Dialogue, China-Korea Industrial Park Dialogue and Paper Group Report, and centered in-depth discussions and constructive proposals on the promotion of green development in the context of big data, the innovation of carbon finance and the deep integration of the industrial chain, and other important topics. It also has set up an important platform for in-depth cooperation between China and South Korea in the fields of economy and academics, and injected new impetus for future exchanges and mutual understanding.
