In order to deepen the collaborative innovation among industry, academia and research, and help with the transformation of the Dual Carbon goals and ecological values, Professor Song Malin, a member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee and Vice President of Anhui University of Finance and Economics, led a team to conduct a special exchange at Hefei Institute of Technology Innovation on December 23, 2024. Wu Zhongcheng, Dean of Hefei Institute of Technology Innovation, Zhang Yonghua, Vice President of the China Forestry Industry Federation, Wu Lifeng, Chairman of Anhui Zhongke Carbon Data Technology Co., Ltd., and others attended the event.
During the exchange, Wu Zhongcheng, Dean of Hefei Institute of Technology Innovation, first extended a warm welcome to Song Malin and his team. He introduced in detail the founding concept and venture capital achievements of Hefei Institute of Technology Innovation, and expressed the hope that, taking this research and exchange as an opportunity, communication and cooperation could be further strengthened.
Song Malin introduced the construction achievements and research characteristics of the Low-carbon Development and Carbon Finance Laboratory of the university. Subsequently, the two sides had an in-depth discussion on the development prospects of the realization of the value of ecological products, with a particular focus on how to promote the upgrading of the forestry and grassland industry through scientific and technological innovation. After full communication and negotiation, all parties reached a preliminary intention of cooperation on jointly building the Scientific and Technological Innovation Consortium for the Forestry and Grassland Industry. The establishment of this consortium aims to integrate the superior resources of all parties, and create a scientific and technological innovation platform that integrates industry, academia, research, application, capital management and services, so as to provide strong technical support and intellectual guarantee for the sustainable development of the forestry and grassland industry.
