June 11th, Professor Sun Yining, the chief scientist of the Hefei Institute of Intelligent Machines, Chinese Academy of Sciences, a counselor of the provincial government, and a Ph.D. supervisor, and his delegation visited the Low-carbon Development and Carbon Finance Laboratory. Vice President Song Malin, Deputy Director of the Laboratory Gao Zhi, and Associate Professor Qian Yingmiao participated in the exchange meeting.
Song Malin, the Vice President of AUFE, extended a warm welcome to Professor Sun Yining and his delegation, and introduced the laboratory in terms of international exchanges, project applications, social services, etc., and emphasized the importance of low-carbon development. Professor Sun Yining introduced the applied research of artificial intelligence and blockchain technology in carbon trading and carbon emission management, and pointed out the huge potential of blockchain technology in promoting the development of the low-carbon economy. The two sides reached a preliminary consensus on further cooperation in the application of blockchain and artificial intelligence in the field of low-carbon transformation.
