April 1st, Yan Lan, Executive Dean of the China Economy Financial Innovation Research Institute, and her delegation visited the Low-carbon Development and Carbon Finance Laboratory for exchanges. Song Malin, Vice President of AUFE, and Gao Zhi, Deputy Director of the Laboratory, attended the exchange meeting.
Professor Song Malin first extended a warm welcome to Dean Yan Lan and her delegation, and introduced the construction objectives of the laboratory, the management and research team, as well as scientific research projects. Professor Gao Zhi gave an introduction to the research directions of the laboratory, the construction of the scientific research platform, and the progress of scientific research. Dean Yan Lan introduced the projects of the Green Technology Digital Platform, talent pool, technology pool, project pool, and case library, which were led by the China Economy Financial Innovation Research Institute for construction.
Thereafter, the two sides had an in-depth discussion on aspects such as the simulation of carbon finance, the green technology bank, the formulation of industry standards for the Dual Carbon goals, the qualification certification of carbon verification, and talent cultivation. After the meeting, the two sides went together to visit and conduct research at the Guoneng Bengbu Power Plant, and held discussions on how the EATNS carbon management system can assist enterprises in green energy-saving management and the research and development projects of carbon reduction technologies.
